Man made his house by rolling dirt—
Rock that was flung up from the earth.
Man then planted, course, grainy seeds
After nature made trees, fruits, and bees.
Man soon built fortresses, folds containing,
The weathers grew angry, gathering, raining,
So he fashioned bold cities built upon strands
And great ships laden with spoils command.
The oceans were quarry and the skies gave in,
The plains dried up, all animals were thinned.
And then— man imagined, if only the stars,
With nothing left, must we settle on mars?

Orion, Orion,
run through the sky.
Shoot Polaris through the heart
and drag it down to earth.

Orion, Orion,
lasso up the moon.
Roll it round the world
and create a crescent smile.

Orion, Orion,
chase the northern lights.
Herd them down to the south
to join with their brothers and sisters.

Orion, Orion,
take a look at your belt.
And travel to the stars that sew
your clothing all together.

Orion, Orion,
please take me on a journey.
Capture me as I walk
and bring me up to you.

Orion, Orion,
let me live with you.
In the sky and in the stars
with the moon by my side.

Orion, Orion,
please become my friend.
Take me away from this hell I live
on this earth that is breaking down.

can't sleep
they just weep
tearless,cause of stings
from those many good things
that slipped outta my grip
they still want to hear
my phone beep
for they saw me in the deep
they saw the amber of your lip
and how we hiked all the steep
cliff,tiring clip after clip
they bite and nip
with a beautiful image
of you they keep

Inside her head lived a dark cloud
That dampened all her thoughts
And roared with thunder storms so loud
The lightning like gunshots

The cloud got bigger all the time
With the turmoil that it stored
It got so big, it made her rhyme
But when it rained, it poured

She rained, and rained, and rained, and drowned
She rained until she dried
But no one ever heard a sound
She stuffed it back inside

She sometimes felt she got it out
And could almost see the sun
But just because she had a drought
Didn't mean that she had won

She kept a little residue
To metastasize again
That's why she always feels so blue
Why melancholy is her friend
