Horny

Sun drawing out sweat
causing clothes to fall off
Deep breaths and quiet grins
Eyes of strangers met

Shirtless against the wall
but only in the head
Standing like a scarecrow
so nothing stands out at all, oh god

Chitter chatter to cover up
But the sweat is growing thick
Better act natural
to keep from becoming the stereotypical
male ****
Keep cool, self, be slick

Choke

I've been told once or twice
that I should keep on being nice
but as far as I can tell
nice guys never win

I've been up, I've been down
I've been drunk and drugged
in this old town
but none of it compares to being
let go by you

I gave you my all
then we took the fall
you must have grown some wings
while you were down there with me

It seems like you are flying
while I'm in my bedroom dying
the blanket you made me
wrapped around my throat

Where did you go
where did you go?
You left me
you left me here to choke
on  all the words I wrote
You left me here to
choke

What will we find?
In this tangled web we call life
Too many secrets to hold
Endless questions
Answers bestowed
Too many words have been said
In them
We weaved this confusing web
Unable to think on our own
We follow a path
That leads us to unknowns
It begs some questions
Are we really alone?
Don't speak
Just listen;
and you'll hear
all the answers
will soon be clear.

I am playing this game!
The score, not in my favor!
Time is ticking,
But not fast enough.
