Frozen,
Crystal drops of dew.
Slowly sliding down the window,
Collecting into groups.
Whistling comes through the windows,
White fluffs covering the ground.
Inside with a blanket,
Keeping warm with the coffee that I found.
My thoughts spiral like the blizzard,
That whisks and roars outside my household.
Before landing on an analogy,
How even beautiful things can have a heart that's cold.

I think some people love living in the empty dark of night,
because they never quite learned how to dream in the penetrating light of day.
My little thought.

So many have forgotten Him.
(Writing prompt: Write the saddest story you can, using only five words.)

Our nation, our world, has stooped striving to follow Christ. So many have forgotten him. His love. His sacrifice. His word and truth. This, to me, is the saddest thing.

Just remember.
No matter how vast or dark a situation gets,
all you really need
is just a little light,
to see that one step in front
so you can walk yourself through it.
You will make it through.

There is no wrong way to write.
Writing is just another form of expressing thought.
Expressing dreams.
Expressing feelings.
It's telling the world who you are.
Slowly.
One
Word
At
A
Time.
There is not one person out there who is born doing it better than another.
Because greatness is only achieved through consistency.
Write.
Then keep writing.
Until your words are autumn leaves,
falling together in little beautiful tufts.

It’s almost over now.
You've got a choice to make.
Go vote, and let your voice be heard,
for there is much at stake.

Stand up and spread the word.
Your country counts on you.
Get to your ballot box and vote.
Go and express your view.

Don’t sit at home and sulk.
Your future is at stake.
Get out and make your presence count.
Go vote, for goodness sake!

Did the sun forget to shine,
Down on this barren earth?
For I see none of that greener grass anywhere,
See no place with worth.

Did the rain forget to fall,
Down to pass through our drying lips?
For now our words come out like sandpaper,
Cutting each other to slits.

Did the stars forget to glow,
And fill the darkness with their light?
For we all walk around with empty dreams,
And there's no wishing happening at night.

Did the wind forget to whisper,
It's softly spoken melody?
For our hearts seem to have forgotten,
The feeling of it's silent beauty.

Oh, what happened to that life,
That danced inside our skin,
That made us want to laugh,
That made us want to live?
