They might have boiled in my stomach.
They might have clawed up my throat.
They might have dripped from my eyes.
But now, they're just something that I wrote.
Sometimes you just have to write it.
Then let it go.

But
If you can't find the things you Love,*
Love the things you find...

I write poetry,
Just not for everyone,
to cry, or to laugh,
or to feel for me,
But for myself,
To read them later,
to recall the times,
I was happy, or
In pain, reminding myself,
to look up, and move on.....
This is why I write.

They say eyes never lie.
But how can I know,
when yours are always closed?
When you're always blocking out the world?
Never opening up, or risking being exposed?
How can I know,
if truth is what you speak?
when your eyes,
never tell a thing?
Don't really know where this came from...

If your words can touch,
save,
comfort,
or
make someone,
just
one person
do or be better,
feel or understand more,
open up,
trust,
relax,
love,
feel less alone,
even just a little...
Than that's all that really counts.
If you could change just one life...
Do it.
Speak out.
Share.
Just, DO it!
Your voice,
could very well,
be
the one
that
others
desperately
need to hear.
The message is in the poem.
Speak out. Maybe save someone.

I climbed out of this trench,
That was as deep as six feet,
When I realized that a broken heart,
Still manages to carry a beat.
