Autumn Leaves
In a beautiful brown cardigan clutching each rocker arm , whispering a hymn to herself , smiling as Earths canvas , painted by Persimmon , Sweetgum , Oak in rapid escape before her . First sunlight upon brown blade .. A matriarchs recollections , good will and nurture released just as the leaves before her ...Red for uncompromising , passionate love . Brown for a tender touch . Yellow for honor regardless of duress ! Green for Harvest , family and tending garden .. Well planned rows , tilled , harrowed a year and one day , situated seedlings devoid of ****  , rock or encumbrance followed by Fall harvest . On a Winter day I watched a Maple leaf fall from the canopy , lighting upon her grave , assuring me that love will remain the same , seeking frosted moor , ethereal , soaring , within reach , ready to be called upon ! . Cold Magic Mornings
Sugar frosted sorghum fields , icing on divinity branch , conjures
a few borrowed phrases scrambled in a Croaker sack . At latitude with
a blue tick coonhound sneaking a peek through the brambles that twist through the hedgerows at a meek , timid mink with a playful eye on morning snow ..
Curious Crow concerned with which way the wind blows , Eastern gray's curious as to why their shadows grow , chasing one another without a care at all , relax outside their sweet gum abode ..
Milkers in the onion field led to proper pasture ..Cowbells break the chilly silence , Red rooster performs *****-nilly atop the pole barn .. Guineas spinning yarns about the other end of the farm , lively geese turning heads for miles around ..
******* jack beagles bray for the edge of the soybean field with no desire for corncake and hot cereal ..

The Over Fifty Crowd .....
The ten o'clock hour on Sunday nights was made for mystery and blistering works of imagination and hardline poetic reality .. For the fifty and above , writers that have felt the fire and burdened their share at the crux of painful sentiment , walked the streets of purgatory on many a lonely night and lived to tell it about .. People that can pick out hidden meaning from ******* , that know the difference between love and tantric *** , ones that have learned to hide their cotton candy soul within a steel resolve , writers with bone dry eyes and little time for Friday night teenage angst wannabe jargon !

Describe Randolph
Amoeba swimming upstream on a petri dish , uncomfortable in artificial medium , frightened , stunned animal lying motionless in tall grass , by a busy intersection....Kudzu taking over a highway , running rampant in every direction , young art prodigy painting with watercolors on construction paper in kindergarten ... First cool wind of Winter filtering through pine forest , water trapped on city streets seeking path of least resistance .. Sand collecting at the bottom of a hill for fifty two plus years , contrail of a jet liner fading fast from right to left , condensation on a window pane waiting for the Sun to appear ....................

The Trinket Shoppe ...
Cobwebs collected in
four corners , tins reflecting
sunshine along the wooden borders ,
a cash register from the fifties
was ironically up for sale , a mirror
from the sixties , gold leaf shot glasses
glimmered , mason jars and fondue sets ,
a tea service , Corningware plates , thimbles ,
candelabras and goose quill pens shimmered
A mannequin with costume jewelry ,
old Army outfits , icepicks , bread pans and shaving kits
The air was stale , like grandmothers house ,
Several traps within eyeshot in hopes of a mouse ,
The days lunch stood open with late morning coffee
perusing a giant ceiling fan overhead , old time
rockers and brass bed sets
A clerk with bifocals and white apron nursing a wood
pipe with black cherry tobacco ,
A shelf with horehound , licorice and rock candy ,
guitar strings , sewing needles and 'medicinal' blackberry brandy* ..

A message from across the desert in response to abstract prose and innocent observations , to ancient oligarchies worshiped under duress ,  the archaic methodology of psychological control .. Theological ideology and atrocity , tumultuous agents of torture spin the clockwork government protocol into collusion .. Maliciously and without justification , unnecessary incarceration , the light of the crescent Moon reveals the bastardization of pertinent , judicious thought answered with cold blooded ****** in the name of a God ..

Afternoon Rant
Spending good money on theater tickets for a fright when the six o'clock news plays for free each night ? Pay top dollar for " Spring water " bottled in plastic choking the oceans ? Sugar free sodas are nothing more than a cumulative poison just like all the others ! Marijuana is taboo , but fast food is cool ? Twenty years for selling it ! Perfectly fine to feed your kids rat poison with a toy stuck in it ! Pay no attention to a refreshing drink that cleans the terminals on car batteries ? Processed flour with roach droppings in it ? Antibiotics , genetically modified produce , earthquakes in Oklahoma from fracking ! Leveling trees in metro Atlanta to build substandard housing !

Matriarchs Wish
Going through a matriarchs memories this morning . Family Bible , insurance papers , photo albums and trinkets ! Final affairs , funeral arrangements ,  prepared prior to her passing ..Sharing stories with siblings . The kind you've heard a thousand times that still bring a smile and a laugh ! This morning , no different , except for a brief spell of tears , a few hugs ,  smiles then back to the business at hand ..Mom's affairs and her Estate were quickly settled without argument nor trite , petty differences ! Household items , photographs , artwork and dishes were split three ways in accordance with Moms wishes ..The only thing left was towels , rags , clothing and shoes , sheets and blankets ! I opened the closet door , Lo and behold , taken aback , Moms pink robe hung in plain view on the center rack ! My brother replied , " May I have that ? I remember tugging on it when I was a child . " Sister declared , " Please , can it come home with me ? I will treasure it , you may see it anytime you like ! " I shed many a tear on this garment , somehow it means more to me than anything I could possibly inherit be it wine glass , silver set , gold ring or fancy dish .. After a few minutes of deliberation a deal was struck ! The robe was to be interred with Mother , along with a note from her children , one for each pocket ..A message from a little 'fella tugging on Moms robe for an extra Pop- **** . One from a little girl read to sleep by a loving parent . One from a little toddler needing a warm hug during stormy weather . And one extra note from all three , placed in Mothers hand , longing for the day when all four were back together again !

Small Town Georgia 1970
The melting *** of town , a tidy restaurant with the smell of sausage and bacon , pancakes and fried eggs , biscuits and gravy with fig preserves and local honey , at high Noon serving the best lunch for miles around . Lively banter from old timers , waitresses eager to strike up conversations , the latest gossip in a one light village , talk of planting , cattle and farm equipment .. A tidy Piggly Wiggly opens at nine o'clock , the local hardware store busy as ever , selling chicks , deer netting , lumber and livestock feed .. Neighbors more than willing to help one another when needed ...
The town closes at one on Wednesday to allow the residents ample time for church service at five , followed by supper in the Communion hall and another round of chat after sundown ...
Back home to quiet city streets and dirt roads , a lone constable patrols town one last time before closing the day out ..

Excuse me Mr. Robin , pardon my interruption , I was wondering with you being so busy if Winter had finally run it's course ? If you had met your Spring lover , working the ground cover for twigs and little what -nots , building a sturdy home for nestlings to hatch and grow in the coming months ?
Mr. Bluebird was far too busy to entertain any such questions , his blushing bride was tweeting directions , every little leaf had to be just so , working studiously on a birdhouse we built the year before ..
Mr. Robin .. If your too connected with work I totally understand , I'll be on the porch enjoying the weather with visions of April in my head ! If you should find yourself in a quandary don't hesitate to come calling ,
