 Nov 2014 Raina Grace
phocks
a warm dawning sun
rises slow on hazy horizons
with winds wildly
blowing
down endless
interconnected currents
we wake up
to birds singing
timeless songs of morning
and our forgotten past
leaves us hanging
like willows weeping
in the rain
from this year's nanowrimo novel

Weeping Willows was selected as the daily poem November 10, 2014

fresh air flowing through
the salty ocean sea breezes, see
far away my senses
on the other side of reality,
making all seem
making me,
calm, on the gusts
of the storms blackest
thrusts. I reach inside spread my
imaginary wings caw out my temporary beak,
soar above the mountains and seas earthbound,
I am the breeze,
I am wide open,
to the receptive arms,
when I come down,
you greet
me with.

in the blue vast chilling
on the hills covered in white
below my temperatures
dreaming of you
way below zero
I walk or ski or crawl
forward
with black limbs
frostbitten
toes or tongue
ice cube nose
all I came for frozen
to the ground
scents less the sounds echo
so well,
here, in dreaming.
The problem is remembering it all,
when I thaw out.

I say I am you
tree
roots and limbs and bark

I say I feed you as you feed me oxygen
we need each
to be

My roots are not covered
and I am not near as tall or robust
my canopy never will attain the beauty

nor hold leaves and seeds
into the sun like you
And then

I ask the tree,
who might you be?
He stands as he always has,

says, I am but a tree,
I bow and say amen.

enough would be for me to be
a dimple in the sand

or
a shell you put to your ears
then castaway

a rock resisting the crashing crest
a loam a bubble floating

up onto your rocky shores
bubbling and frothy

seeking all you are today.

Ebb and flowing to your rhythm
out and in flow gush and sing the seas song
harmonizing the vastness of the tides,

washing us into the sea.

so,
to the child within remember him?

Santa is real, and goblins and tooth fairies.
Lose a tooth but cherish memory.
Open the presents
past given,
the fantasies,
the dreams.

I followed a girl named Janice, a long long time ago, home.
She was my first girlfriend.

I will never forget her looking back,
and how she said hello.
Hear the drums and follow my steps
like a perfect army in sync you will never rest
March with me let's explore the infinite sea
Let's seek the wisdom you and me

The sweet wisdom lies inside
Frequencies vibrating high

All is energy and it just flows
Share your love and watch it glow
Frequencies vibrating low
Changing forms
Transmutation
Shapeless patterns offers no perfection

The infinite wisdom lies inside
You just have to see the energy between the lines

The wisdom is buried in the darkest corners of the mind
The wisdom lies in the wild

The wisdom lies in the heart..
