I have nothing to do
but to lay in bed
and make up scenarios
in my head
of me and you
who cannot be
our names will never
be on the marquee.

No bright lights,
no standing ovation,
this isn't an act of two
bodies magnetic resistance,
the audience left to boo,
there is no happy ending
for me and for you.

Is it wrong to love when you are with her?
Am I in the wrong to say you I prefer?
If I am in the wrong then don't right me.
Just let me hold on to this fantasy.

I forgive you even after all the wrong you've done
My heartstrings you play, you pluck, and sometimes strum.
Creating a song within me, a song just for us
A song played to feed the romantic lust.

Don't leave my heart hanging on the line after dried
Pull it into the safety of your heart with pride
If I am in the wrong then don't right me
Just let me hold onto this fantasy.
Another poem About Triplett lol.
The format is Every two lines rhyme.
Every line except the last line in each stanza is 10 words
The last line is 10 syllables.
Hope you enjoy :D

if ever you wonder
if ever your heart should grow curious
for lust and love and spirit
electricity that splits the spine
a jolt of lightening
rushing through wide open veins
baby hairs standing on end
on the nape of your neck
a wave of cold sweat
dripping through your hair
moistens your back
if ever a moment passes
if ever you refrain from yelling loud
sing a melody
scream “i love you”
skip through a crowd of people
and smile
laugh
dance
and forget your worry
the temporary madness of yesterday
because you are static, ecstatic
you are wonderful
written by me

I would liken you
To a night without stars
Were it not for your eyes.
I would liken you
To a sleep without dreams
Were it not for your songs.

We can do mathematics. I'll simplify
your reasons to kiss me, subtract
doubt, add charm, multiply seduction,
root hope and equate your ****** with
mine.

We stalked the dusty terrain as the sun set to dusk
The air hung hot and heavy with much animal musk
We almost called it quits but we spotted the Ivory tusks

The setting sun shone upon turning them yellow gold
And the great beast who carried them was many a years old
And so they would be told
And so they would be told

With a charge we hasten down the hill.
Ropes flung but the beast still had will.
And I aimed my rifle to the climatic ****.

The shot rumbled across the twilight sky and the elephant had died.

The majestic body to the ground it rolled.
When they stole the Ivory tusks came over me a lonely cold.
And so they would be sold.
And so they would be sold.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed
That fall back will see me back
In your arms for the hour we lack
Give us back the hour we tossed

We spring forward between the flowers
We don’t notice the hour that passes
But somehow that still suffices
To make us slaves to time and hours

We’ll pretend nightly ghosts are our enemies
But I’ve learned the opposite in my twenties
The sun can be just as cruel and mean
If you get caught in all its timely schemes

So turn off the lights and hide with me
We’ll build a temple where we are free
From last minute and a second too late
From years forgotten and maybe our fate

I must be Mad.

I feel nothing if not everything at once or not at all.
I feel big and then I feel small.
I feel Ugly and pretty.
Young and Old.
I do not know what to feel
when my hands go numb and cold.
They say it's pins and needles
but I say it's frozen time.
Maybe I'm just mad.
That is it I must be mad.

and she can hardly breathe without you
yes, Yes, YES!

I think about you all day long
But must wait to call your name
You give me what I need the most
A release from my long day

Your boldness just amazes me
The coolness of your looks
I wrap my hands around you
And gently pull you to my lips

All my friends they wish they had you
They admire what they see
They want to have you with them
When they see you're here with me

Your seduction starts out slowly
Anticipating whats in store
My feeling of excitement grows
And I want you even more

The head you give it wont last long
I'll feel your wetness on my tongue
Then close my eyes and take you in
A guilty pleasure till I'm done

I think about you all day long
But must wait to call your name
And when that moment finally comes
Guinness Draft is what I'll say
