When they ask me why I stayed so long
I explain that because of you
I never ran out of things to write about.

Looking back,
I wonder whether all along

or a writing prompt.

A blink of words

Frustration! To be
Better, to get Better.
How can I master the art
Of learning to love my own Confinement.

Am I loved?
Do I matter?

Do others love me?
How long will they care?

Is it enough to just love myself?
Can I too end that loving?

And can never be taken away
