The bus was from the past for real
It was stripped and decayed

Drink Up
I am a true Texan
Came from a small Texas Town
Travelling on a Stage Coach kicking up dust
I came to a town called “REFRESHING GULCH”
That town has the right name
But I am just being lame
Those folks drink Sun Up to Sundown
Now I don’t drink along those lines
But then again, have I truly lost my mind
However, all I can remember I was knocked out drunk
It happened in the Pleasure Saloon
I had arrived on that Stage Coach at noon
What a way to begin a journey
By the way, my name is Ernie
Somehow, I was so drunk, I was put into a hotel room in town
It was called “SETTLE YOURSELF”
I woke up and found myself in nothing but my underwear
Talk about an embarrassing moment
Barely holding steady
I have a hangover the size of Wyoming
There was a knock at the door, and it was the Sheriff Hummer, checking up on me
I asked the Sheriff, “How did I get into this room?”
He said he carried me
All I can remember is seeing the Can Can Girls as they showed dance in can
I just kept drinking as I could into when with no end
That’s where everything turned black

But all I am thinking of right now is GUNSMOKE

Life into eternity came to a dreadful end
It was destruction 20 years earlier then
Our lives were changed
9/11 being remembered shall remain
Terrorist thought they had won
But the United States will never be outdone
Ashes upon Ashes
Dust upon Dust
We rose in accomplishment being victory
Commitment in honor to all the Loss
We came together united being a force
We honor all the Loss
Their lives forever in our hearts
Life can be only a second and moment in time

Heaven watched
Souls descended
The Loss voices telling us to continue to strive
Don’t let defeat take control
Stand tall, strong and be bold
This is the 9/11 story ever told
Tomorrow seemed like a yesterday
But 20 years was captured as a moment in our lives
Possibility surfaced as a reality
Our hearts were united as one
We wondered if we ever build and overcome again
Tears upon tears among families in their Loss
But the U.S. conquered and saw that the ashes of darkness wasn’t going to stop the U.S. in seeing the guiding light
Heaven led us
Faith was the hope
Today, it is our daily cope
We are never alone
The Lord knows all our names well
We are all witnesses of 9/11 to tell
The Loss Spirits are looking down on us in pride that we are still standing
It took might and determination
Their spirits are our courage
Their strength being nourish
Their life our beginning
We will always remember and never forget
There will always be a question of regret
Have no fear
God is always near
Echoed souls want us to continue to preserver
Their spirits are alive in all of us
We are their legacy
We are their dreams of commitment
Our determination being a destination
It is for us to continue to live until our tasks are complete

It relates to 9/11
You see, I went on an interview Two Weeks before 9/11/2001
The interview was at Marsh & McClennan, Inc. at their Midtown New York City Office
But the Clerical job I would be doing was at the Former original 1 World Trade Center Tower on the 96th Floor
If I worked during that period, I wouldn’t have made it out for sure
I never did get hired
But it was a blessing
The World Trade Towers were attacked
I could have been involved in that
A blessing was bestowed unto me you
Perhaps a learning lesson for me
Faith was the key
My name could have been on the memorial list
But God saw my name would be overlooked survival miss
I firmly believe God’s mission having a plan in his hand
I am at God’s command
Faith
Hope
Praise
It was all through God’s amaze
Amen in the blessing

You took me too the Movies and Broadway play being biblical related such as “THE BIBLE”, “THE TEN COMMANDMENTS”, “THE ROBE” and BROADWA\Y PLAY, “YOUR ARMS ARE TOO SHORT TO BOX WITH GOD”
You made that a learning lesson for me
I remember all so well
It is my story of tell
I have no regret
You enriched my life
You gave good advice
You were loving, caring, humble and nice
You have been in Heaven for a while
I miss you so

As Poets, we defend our purpose and reason
It has nothing to do with seasons
Great words have come from many well know Poets
However, many Well Known Authors have inspired others of their work
One Poet comes to mind is “Edgar Allan Poe”
An Author would say “So”
Authors, we are not going to let you put us Poets down
We are all over town
Poets will always be around
Our words will always  be a touch down
The words make the sound

But if Authors and Poets come together, there is might

Fighting crime and bringing to Justice
But was that her destiny?
A Night Star spoke to her one given night and told Ms. Holiman told her that becoming Megawomen was a gift behind the purpose, and that she was the chosen one
