It was a mixture of climates
Drizzling with a gentle breeze
Of medicinal Neem leaves
Near my window
In between peeps the sun
To compromise with the rain
Crows building nests
With the falling twigs of trees
Foxes getting married
That was a telling of oldies
Enjoying the friendship of
The rain and the sun
Feeling lucky to see them together !

The clock struck twelve at midnight
Tick-tick-tick-tick goes on
Suddenly woke up from my sleep
A shadow passing my window
With a sharp knife
Whole body sweating with fear
Hands and legs tied with creepers of thorns
Breaking my bones by inches
Darkness capturing the room
Someone was trying to unlock the door
Bang-Bang knocking on the door
Threatening to **** me
Became dumb in vain to shout
It was calling my name with a roar
Pushed opened the door
And the shadow came in with the knife
Nearing me with blood drops from its eyes
Came in force with the sharp edge
To pierce into my stomach
Now the face was clear for me
Recognising it as depression
Abiding full strength breaking the creepers
Became the shadow's murderer!

Where green leaves dance
With a jingling smile
The tree, their school of dance
Comes the wind, their master
Making them dance like
Jingle bells on a Christmas tree
To and fro, up and down
Twirling and twisting
In between comes the branches
Their dancing pairs, making it
More appealing for our eyes
Roots, the ancestors
Were fantastic dancers once
School born from a
Dedicating dancer, the Seed !

In this world of crowd
Your eyes searching for me
Hiding from your sight
Is a pleasant feeling
Catch me if you can !

Oh ! My sweet brown teddy
You are my only buddy
No one for me to share
Only you are here to care
Let me pour all my pain
In your little ears so plain
Just a toy with no heart

It was a busy schedule that
She have to forget his presence
Offended by her absence
Promised never to meet her again
When released from her works
Telling a lie came out of her house
Gave a ring to meet her in a garden
Waiting for him in a bench
But he never gave her a response
Slowly started walking in the garden
Got a call from him telling her

Be happy with your priorities
Tears flowing through her cheeks
Turned back to see him walking to her
Surprised to see her turning back

He was walking with her all the way
She answered, Dear, I know only one thing
You love me more than anything else in this world !
Hugging her with a big smile

Reaching my village station
Early morning
Waiting for the darkness
Shifting to light
As it was raining with
Heavy storm
Had a thought of having
A sip of hot coffee
Lean and stingy was she
Sitting in a corner
With a shiver of cold
And poverty
Not cared by anyone
But was shooing her
Like a ***** fly
Took a blanket from
My luggage
Covering her shiver
And pain of poverty
In front of the tea shop
Not a penny with her
Adding one more in
My plan of sipping coffee
Lessening her inner
Shiver of stability !
