In my chair near the table
Sitting with my hand to the chin
Holding a blue ink pen
Closing my eyes slowly
Drowning myself into thoughts
Some four lines came out
Poured it on a white paper
Eyes closed and back to thoughts
A hullabaloo woke me up
Blue ink sprinkled on my words
Few dry neem leaves on the table
Distracted by some chittering
It was the mischievous but cute
The three lined little Squirrel !

Clouds getting dark and black
Showing faces of hatred
Just because the sky
Announced the arrival of rain
Even though clouds,the mentor
For making rain tremendous
When it comes to superhero
The sky announces it as Rain !

Love everything about you except your silence
Anger, tensions, problems are they
Making you keep silent
Controlling your emotions and stress
Within you when attacked by these three
Wish you to share to lessen your burden
And stop from attacking you
Possessive with these three now
For taking my love from me
Not for a second but days or a month too
Never forget a heart is beating for you
Exhale your silence and inhale my love for you !

A beauty of yellow Indian Tulip
With a graceful shape of Rose Chestnut
Filled with Cypress Vine of Jungle Flame lips
And the Golden Champa skin
Shining like a Scarlet Mallow
Curly black hair like Elephant Creepers
Was in a colourful dress of Peacock  Flowers
Alluring eyes of Blue Water Lily
With a face glowing like the Beauty Of The Night
A hair crown of Oleander
Necklace of Winter Jasmine
And Periwinkle earnings
Fragrance of Kunda was hypnotising
Making her man, the Gallant Soldier dissolve in her !

Love,care,unity and four twigs
Crow builds a beautiful nest
Money, plot, Loan, interest, construction
Humans built luxurious houses
Still incomplete homes
Without love,care and unity!

Hold my hands tight
With me see the palace door
In the dim light of the lantern
Full of guards with rods
How will I go inside?

Beautiful fireworks in the sky
Sparkles in her smile
Colourful butterflies fluttering
When she passes by

Walls wet after a breezy rain
Small green mosses grown
Snails slowly moving on the wet greenery ground

Rivers and lakes are fresh and cool

The clock struck twelve at midnight
Tick-tick-tick-tick goes on
Suddenly woke up from my sleep
A shadow passing my window
With a sharp knife
Whole body sweating with fear
Hands and legs tied with creepers of thorns
Breaking my bones by inches
Darkness capturing the room
Someone was trying to unlock the door
Bang-Bang knocking on the door
Threatening to **** me
Became dumb in vain to shout
It was calling my name with a roar
Pushed opened the door
And the shadow came in with the knife
Nearing me with blood drops from its eyes
Came in force with the sharp edge
To pierce into my stomach
Now the face was clear for me
Recognising it as depression
Abiding full strength breaking the creepers
Became the shadow's murderer!

Violet was her beautiful name
In a dress of Indigo flowers
Her captivating Blue eyes
And Green diamond earrings
Yellowish golden like skin
With Orange curly hair
Smiling with her Red lips

With the characteristics of VIBGYOR
She is colourful for the vision
She is....THE RAINBOW !

Swinging on a pleasant evening
Yellow golden flowers dropping on me
Grandfather's white beard,
Came flying to me, the pappus
Blowing it up with a smile
Excited to bring out the antlions
Caught some red ants being their prey
Dropping them on their sand pits
Waiting to see them come out
Orange-red jungle flame flowers
Inviting me to have a sip of honey from it
Aimed some mangoes with my catapult
Ate them dipping in a mixture of salt and chilli powder
There came a gorgeous blue butterfly
Challenging me to catch it
Tired after all these activities
Back to my swing, to and fro
Flying high with a feel to touch the sky
It was my unforgettable evening !

Comes the charming prince
In a chariot of white horses
The sky showering stars to welcome him
Cuckoos in their honey voice
Sings about his charm
The wind waving him slowly
Fan of cool breeze
Sun bestowing its light on him
To signify his glowing face
As a courtesy for their love
The prince smiles like a child
There comes the beautiful princess
In a chariot of peacock
Opening her wide black eyes
Admires the prince with a glance
Walking deliberately towards the prince
With a garland of jasmines and roses
Her cheeks turning red with a blush
The prince ready with the garland in his hands
Bowing his head for the princess
Exchanging the garlands with the
Fragrance of jasmines and roses
Showering of colourful flowers as blessings
From the Lords of heaven
Splashing of rain cooling the Mother Earth
Blessing the hearts of couple to freshen
It was....A Heavenly wedding !

It was a mixture of climates
Drizzling with a gentle breeze
Of medicinal Neem leaves
Near my window
In between peeps the sun
To compromise with the rain
Crows building nests
With the falling twigs of trees
Foxes getting married
That was a telling of oldies
Enjoying the friendship of
The rain and the sun
Feeling lucky to see them together !

Near the sea on a rock I lie
Gazing at the vast sky
Sea water pulling my legs
To play with it
Requested not to disturb me
Closing my eyes
But it was not ready to give up
Have to surrender in front of its love for me
Asked me to catch it if I can
It slipped away from my hands
Asked it to make me wet
Ran from it touching me
Played a lot for a long time
It was getting dark
Mother wave came with anger
Scaring me with a terror
Waving goodbye to the sea
Promising to come early the next evening !

Standing under a waterfall fully wet
Mind was upset, now totally set
Drained all my tears with the water that fall
Now nothing can make me feel small
Fresh water falling from my head to toe
Cleaning my body and mind from the woe
Promising never to give up my dreams
For the sake of some bootless screams
Walking forward with perseverance
Leaving backward all my indolence !

I was in a pride that I am unique
But felt I was wrong seeing
The same me in another
He cries when I cry, laughs when I laugh
And does the same gestures and mannerisms
He does whatever I do
Was totally surprised to see him
Drinking liquor when I do
I was laughing out louder at him
When he laughed at me !

Wish to have wings to fly so high
To Compete with the birds
And touch the sky

Wish to have a voice so sweet to sing
To Compete with the cuckoo
And praise the spring

Wish to have lips so cute to smile
To Compete with the flowers
And blush for a while

Wish to have the beauty be alluring
To Compete with the peacock
And bring down the drizzling

Wish to have the energy so high to twirl
To Compete with the green leaves
And caress the gentle squall

Wish to have a heart so sheer
To Compete with the toddlers
And love the Almighty so pure !

Hurtling to make money
Brawling for the seats
Competing for the fame
Shrieking out loud for religious violence
Selfish and greedy humans
Killing brotherhood using
Vengeance and acrimony
Sharper than the weapons
Earth floating like a paper boat
In the pool of human blood
What do they take with them
To the graveyard ?
Bonehead people not knowing
Nothing but a dead body are they
Leaving alone with no money,
No fame, no seats, no religion
Not even their own body !

Distance keeping us apart
But love keeping us at heart
You understand even a sigh
The beating of heart so high
Our silence too has a language
Even it has a lot of mileage
We are within each other
Our souls never go farther
When you smile, I become poetry
When I smile, you become summary!

Looked at the moon with a smile
He smiled back with a wink
Opened my eyes wide open
With a girlfriend's blush
Conveyed with his eyes
Asking me why don't you come near?
Conveyed with my hands
Asking him why don't you take me there?
Both with a heartbreak knowing none of this will happen
Promised to meet daily at night !

Mind is busy with thoughts
Not worried about me
In their world of complications
Leaving me in vexation
Where there's no way to smile
Trying hard being normal
But they make me a burden
Mind is not moving forward
Stops at one and all thoughts
Making the heart so weak
Hands and legs like a snail
Losing strength to take a risk
Erasing the thoughts so brisk
And move easily with the mind !

Bullock carts moving forward
With the music of jingling bells
Women walking like a peahen
Balancing mud pots of water
On their head with a band
Women churning butter from
Milk with the churning rod
Men with their spades to fields
Ready for the ploughing
Boys,with their tool, catapult
Aiming at the juicy mangoes
Little girls running with laughter
To the call of a bangle-seller
Old men sitting in the verandah
Memorising their days of youth
Fruit selling woman calling out loud
Bananas,Apples,Mangoes
Smoke from the chimneys
Like an engine of a train
Red chillies, turmeric and coriander
Spread on sheets in the sunlight
Goats and calves crying out in
Search of their pet homes
Village full of greenery with
Gulmohars, Banyan and Neem
Busy with their daily duties
Happy with no disappointments
The villagers of olden days !

Never I knew the worth of love
Unless you came into my life
Never I knew the pain of love
Unless you taught me the depth of love
Never I knew the solitude of love
Unless you made me realise the waiting in love
Never ever I knew it is impossible without love
Unless I fell in love with you !

With their sack of books
On donkey shoulders
With a frown and tears
With a push from home
To climb Mount Everest

As scoldings and shame

Women being tamed like pets
In a golden cage of love
Not a few, but many
Clipping their lips so tight
With silence of fear
Taught to love her husband,
children, parents,society
But not to love herself
Compelled to respect the feelings of one and all
But no freedom for her emotions
Becomes a servant without salary

From the beginning
Till this moment
I was in love with you

Lost his wife a month ago

Back after his habitual way
Seeing his house with a revelation
Full of lights and balloons of decoration
Getting in to his foyer
Welcomed by a birthday choir
From his Beloved's' gramophone
Standing there with a cake of cone
The five unknown guests of his home
Tears flowing from his eyes so red
With a wish to hug them Ted
Adopting them as his pets
Killing his habit of drinking pest
Changing himself as their best !

Dreamt he always of those  beautiful  black eyes
As a hint of his love waiting for him
Tempting him to come out in search of her

Opening his eyes in the morning
The dream comes to an end
Erasing it from his memory

Back to his dream during night
Those magical eyes
Provoking him to find his love

One fine morning, a frail old woman
Comes seeking a place to bide
Kind-hearted is he
Letting her inside his house
Permitting to stay till she recuperate

That night comes again his dream
With those eyes so strong
Like a call of his love too near

Getting up from his bed
Walking with his eyes closed
To the room where the old woman stays

Opening his eyes met with those black eyes
There standing a beautiful girl
With her eyes full of love

Loving each other all night
Forgetting their love during day
In their world of love with curse
Lived happily ever after!
