On one gloomy evening
Neighborhood stray-paws
Come to prey
Backyard roosters
Yapping and flapping
Pillowcase feathers sprout
In the color of snow grey

Got spooked suddenly
Waking slumbered bind
Still blinded
By freezing disbelief
An odd sight it was
For the dreamer
Lost inside his own mind
Horrible animal noise
Should tunnel-guide
To the light

Back to the cold
Struggling-bound world
Where deep sleep is
Certainly an obvious escape
Place though trickery peaceful
Nothing could hurt there
Except diffuse our aura
Metaphysically beyond space

Between reality and fantasy
If I'm to choose
I shall go with the latter
Because I don't want to
Take a rifle resume another
Cycle of violence noose
Knowing one day
I could forever retire
To a wonderful fantasy too

Nothing we haven't seen
Many times before
How you forge stuffs
Bending them all
To your twisted will
A kind Nurse
That you are
I shall mistake you for
Always checking on earth
That's being terminally ill

How many times
Have you come visiting
To the bereaved
You are bad omen
And not a hero
Costume embroidered
With pocket clocks and ticking
Well, nobody's counting
Till life fades to zero

Lure me not to sleep
With your sad lullaby
Nor accost me in the shape
Of an unusual passer-by
For there are a million ways
To die and bid goodbye

Jill
Swooping, sliding, soaring safety
When I had my wings, ribbed dragonfly sheer
Diaphanous as worldly knowledge
Veins, membranes, and spikes
Glass-smooth at eye-line
And in between all chitin clear

Comfort, cuddling, warmly wing-wrapped
When I had my wings, silk gossamer tough
Impregnable as guileless graspings
Steel, Kevlar, and gum
-- echoes at finest
No human copies quite enough

Earnest, peering through pale wing-shields
When I had my wings, light strawberry blush
Full optimist in rosy child-sight
Hope, trust, and ease
Lucent at sunrise
But sunset wipes the pearly flush

Thorny learning came at sunset
When I lost my wings, ribbed dragonfly sheer
Conspicuous in adult hindsight
Screen drawn, and lost
Sombre in umber
World full of weeping, sweeping clear

Our organic architect leaves the stage
Her window-pane sails, in delicate rose
Better to know the world at its worth
All sad glory
In plain sorry view
Shoulders itch, remember their clothes

When I had my wings

Have you forgiven them yet?

The moon,
for it gives you out no secrets.

The stars,
for their beauty
which often hurts your eyes.

The sun,
for it never dies, unlike us.

The dead,
for their silent smile.

Have you forgiven them yet?
I ask

myself.
Whatever you mean to me
is nestled deep inside my spirit
Lips sealed, I'll never speak of it
not to you, nor any other soul;
Heart pumping soul-searing love,
unrequited and strong.

Weird as it may sound
You come and go, round and round
Your duty's time-bound

You! Nocturnal keep
Creeping into deepest sleep
Guilty when you peep

Mounts a frail device
While our minds skate on thin ice
Be gentle and nice

Sleep is lame and cold
Casts astral beams of pure gold
My soul! Please, be bold

Flicker images
One from a thousand ages
Tales from few pages

Mold them still with clay
Playbacks that trouble my day
Keep nightmares at bay

Lost souls on a race
To a ****** embrace
Dream's name must be grace
#spirituality and sleep
#mind-body-spirit connection

Amidst rain, storm roars
I see no castrated boars
Boat's offshore no oars

Suzie's lips gape wide
She mounts upon  me astride
But I'm no horse ride

Her skin's like fresh meat
I can smell her desert heat
Kissing two hearts beat

Sadistic nails jooked
Parachute bra flies unhooked
Sweet pain overlooked

Obey and poised steely
Or miss chance to taste freely
Tongue's out slink deely

Coitus should be fun
Wheely as a circus bun
Sways no childish pun

Letting her take lead
As I sprout thoughts from charred ****
With one closed eyelid

She grabs the viper
Moods daren't swing like jeep's wiper
"Roger that, ******!"
