... for not being on site as much as I probably should be. Some of you may know I have been going through some very difficult times. I do not write about these to elicit sympathy. I only want understanding and compassion. Thank you for reading this entire post.

My father was recuperating well, but it's now flagging in his resolve to live. He has almost entirely lost his hearing. He's losing his eyesight. And now he cannot talk. He had to have a trach put in because his vocal cords were frozen and he couldn't breathe. He requires 24-hour care. He cannot return to the high-functioning home where he was staying before. He will now have to go into a nursing home.

It is very hard to witness this. He is a survivor of the battle of Okinawa. He is a survivor of stage 3 throat cancer. Chemotherapy and radiation treatment at the age of 85. He is now 92. I just don't know if he can survive this. I just need to remember he lived a long rich life.

The biggest problem I'm having is that I know my father is not prepared for eternity. He refuses to even discuss the concept of God. He's always been an Atheist. He is a chemist. A scientist. And he was hurt very badly by religion when he was growing up. I have sown seeds, though. Perhaps the Lord will come to him in a dream or vision. I just don't know...

No matter what happens I am prepared. It is just very difficult, and I cannot concentrate very well. Also I and spending a lot more time in my spiritual practices, so please forgive me if I'm not on the site as much as I could be. It does not mean I don't love you... there are people that are on this site who I pray for on a daily basis. I blanket this site with prayer. There are some who might not believe in the power of this, but I have seen miracles happen right here on this site. A young man was cured of malaria just a couple of weeks ago. Prayer is the most loving and powerful thing anyone can do for another person.
I DO IT FOR YOU ALL.

Thank you for reading.

A rose, they say, will have its thorn,
Which cannot harm nor ****,
It only serves to give its bloom
A scent that's sweeter still.

Let god into you're heart they say and put you're faith in him, but what they don't know is that I'm a demon and the devil's already in.

I watched the rose petals fall from the vine
I'm fine
They've dried up
and blown away
turned to dust
and mark the days
Gone by
She laughs
with the breeze
And the
remaining silence,
puts me at ease
For Stella.
I love you.
For my friends,
here
I hope you understand
Our hearts weigh more
when they are broken,

Our minds expand
when they are awoken.

Our souls can be felt
when they are shattered,

Our hearts, minds
and souls are fragile
when they've been battered.

They can be mended
with love and care,

With strength and faith
and with some valuable prayer.

We can learn
from all of our pain,

With our lessons
we can stand tall again.

Showing ourselves
some needed compassion,
patience and love,

Seeking salvation
from God above.

Listening to tunes
I tap my feet to the beats
And float like a cloud
Love music me and my family  listen to it most days , so uplifting :)
He was nothing less
Than everything,

Her entire universe,
Not leaving out anything.

He was in
Her every thought,

In everything good
That she ever sought.

He was her every breath,

Connected to her heart and soul,
He would live-on to remain this way,
Beyond her death.

Destined
To be side-by-side,

Hand-in-hand,
Together, they signed-up
To take-on life's
Scary rollercoaster ride.

Growing,
Living,
Knowing,

An endless love,
They both shared,
To eachother,
They never stopped showing.

They climbed mountains,
They enjoyed the views,

They walked through fires,
Together,
They shared
Both good and bad news.

They rode through storms,
They went on adventures,

They gazed at sunsets and sunrises,
Together,
They partook
Many daring ventures.

They were born to be together,
To be as one, connected,

An honest love without measure;
A rare, precious love
They both dearly protected.

We awaken to the early show
So vividly underway
With just a hint of the morning dew
The night before had laid
A breeze so mild it forces a smile
Of fresh new forest green
Busy squirrels and singing birds
Enjoy all that life will bring

The laughing cry of the loons and swallows
On the lake so old and free
The presence of Indian spirits
In the surrounding ancient trees

Dragonflies like fairies fly
Embrace the tortoise shell
Yellow flowers on the lily pads
Where croaking bullfrogs dwell
Crawdads and minnows
Reminisce of yesteryear
When we were only children
Still wet behind the ears...
