Have you ever forgiven
a thief-like moth
that pilfered smoothness
of your cheeks,
and it was ebullient
to get acquitted of being
sentenced to death?

have you ever forgiven
a black-velvet-fur cat
that, in your absence,
drank volumes of milk
and you thanked God only
for the uninvited guest?

have you ever forgiven
a little child that made fun
of your cheerfulness
and you let him play
in your orchard?

I have celebrated this
along with my family,
and only one thing I know
this is something delicate.
