O Lord,
this hand-pressed wine water
has given me a buzz,
so very natural,
it's as if I can taste
every single fox grape,
minus the fuzz.

And my fridge is going to be packed
with peach & blackberry & pecan jam
& three pounds of mild
pork biscuit-sausage,
one hundred times
better than spam.

Hand-picked,
pesticide-free,
green beans and squash,
leaf lettuce & radishes,
green onions and spuds,
geez, nothing I bought fresh
is even close
to being a dud.
