Jun 2014
the night has waved goodbye over the cusp of today
and all yes all the birds are singing their symphony
the sea calm mirror as ever these summer days still
half asleep with token ripples waves to the moon
who disappeared with his girlfriends the stars hours ago
but now where is that golden orb we all know you are
coming in the fullness of your burning where are you
we see your presence simply because we can see
we wait for your entrance rising above our small horizons
