If you pull back the curtain
You'll see who it is that I really am
If you pull back the curtain
You'll get a full view of only half a man
I must warn you though if you do
You can never close the curtain again

I'll then be on center stage
In this production that we call life
Out of every part that I've played
This is the one I can't seem to get right
Before it is I take a bow
The audience files out into the night

Once again I'm left alone
In the very center of the stage
A lone spotlight to guide me along
In the choices that I have made
With the final curtain call
I again step into the part I play
