It's not very funny
how the simple pleasures in life
are rapidly disappearing.

And in our quest,
the need for speed,
to meet the needs
of the crazed
computer-aged peoples,
they've given up
on the comics.

There's nothing like
holding onto
the vibrantly-colored
cartoon-section of
the local newspaper,
just to have a little chuckle.

And sadly,
nobody seems to take,
to have the time to laugh
these days,
'cause we all know,
time is money now.

And tragically,
we're all lost,
paying the high cost
of such complicated living,
just existing
in a techno-world
without laughter.
