Behind dried carcasses,
pitch-eyes watch
your every move.
Swirling incense wafts
between the
open doors of the market.
Trinkets abound,
magical spells
sold with effigies
of chestnut and tin.
For just one Boliviano
you can wreak
havoc on your enemies.
For a few more,
you can purchase
a love potion
that will make her
swoon for you.
