She told me
I'm her best friend,
wanted to hang out
with me after work,
get to know me better.

But I got a strange inkling,
an odd feeling that
trouble followed her
no matter where she goes.

So I told her I have
some of those already,
friends who cause
me trouble.

She got really ******,
said in a nasty tone,
"Never mind then!"
