Most people think
mountain climbers
are really tough,
grow beards
to stay warm,
are born to live
life on the edge.

And all that's partly true.
I am a fighter,
& crave some danger,
enjoy taking
a little bit of risk.
But I'm a lover too,
I grow my beard
to remind me of you,
it carries your heavenly-scent
on every climb I take.

Your sweet fragrance
is simply divine,
it pumps me up
for the summit push
& for the descent,
makes me want
to come home quick,
just to get back to you.
