Soldier Thoughts #82
Another uniform inspection,
got my shoes spit shined,
not a single wrinkle,
just look,
no creases.
My brass is shinier
than the sun,
ribbons laid out
row upon row,
looking perfect.
And wouldn't you know it,
the guy's clothing inspecting me,
ain't right.
He's checking out my suit
& his own boots are scuffed,
typical army *******,
stupid stuff.
