Jan 2014
I awoke alone,
rigid in a trance.
The clock on the wall
ticked midnight
& immediately
I thought of her,
somewhere in space,
a different place
near a distant shore.

I traced her contours
in the eye of my mind,
felt her feminine-kindness
open like a crystal-flower.

And with heightened breathing
& a firm grip in the dark,
I tasted her dripping
delicacies,
imaginered her above me
with the same wantonness,
satiating me with her soul.

I felt the earth move with her
as I shuddered,
filling her in my dream
with fiery-purpose.

As I lay covered in sweat
& warmth,
her vision sitting
on my raised hips,
I wanted more.
