Beneath your woolen sweater,
your headlights
looked like chiseled diamonds,
they made me
swollen with desire,
there's a fire
burning here.

But it's astonishing
to think,
these written images,
such vivid pictures,
are only
make-believe dreams
I have about you
(when I write all alone).
