i'll live afraid of this nine-to-five necktie
living until i grow old and die
alone

unless she stays or runs with me
none of these ******* see
scars

it's cloak and dagger, through and through
some scars are old, some are new
marks

it's not death that scares us; it's the ghost we can't see
i'd rather it be just her and me
forever
