Melana (Hindi): In Hindi, "melana" (or melan) refers to a "union," "junction," or "association"

"Melan-" is a Greek-derived prefix meaning dark or black

melange (Fr., Eng.) mixture, or a group of different things or people

can you think of some a melange of examples of
things that turn dark, or black, when full or overripe?

of course you can, these burdens of blackness in the souls,
make the human, pensive, melancholy, a state world-over,
where too many have come to live, entranced perhaps, by the
overwhelming embrace of so many reasons to be saddened,
so few to be ecstatic…

tired, sleepy, these come to drive me away from this topic of
verbal cancer,
for the infection now dormant, silent, yet within, and the antibodies,
are less and less effective, and the newest version of the dark dispirit,
probably, will discover the old antibody, is now insufficient to master the newest returning descendant of it previous iterations

but this a private prayer, never meant to be shared

a melange of emotions, admiration of her differing iterations,
her varied impersonations, that each in their own way
express the exceptional devotion to the comprehensive
there fore undefinable yet still, despite millions of additive attempts,
always demands one more to tie the equinox of two unto one,
searching, researching all of human history for clues how
love&live
became
                                                an inevitability

and only accidentally became separated, which if that had not
happened, the world would be a much better pa~lace

which leaves me with
Melana (Hindi),
which In Hindi, "melana" (or melan)
referring to a "union," "junction," or "association"

like India itself,
a country of parity and much disparity in its
State of Union

but let us not jot nor dwell on things that sunder,
for are wr not all the same color in our interiors,
how foolish we humans be to
only care about our outer wrapping,
when our greatest colorizations
are interior,
and exactly the same despite
every stupidly human need
to differentiate
accentuating
what divides,
when clear as the blackest melancholy
is the potential purity
of a melan of
unity

here we stop, But
do not end,
my entwined roped threads
have yet,
more knots to both make
and then retie,
resolving back unto
their
original
singular
