Which me will stride out
To welcome the sunrise
To one who can juggle
Ten ***** and a yoyo
Or the one in the corner
Who’s huddled in pain.

Or maybe the one
who is greatly determined
To take on the morning
And make it til noon.
Or the one who’s still sleeping
In dreamland’s caresses.

Which me will get up
And put on the costume
That says I am able
To get through the day
With determination
And help from my love.

That is the me that
I hope you will see.
That is the me that
I hope I will be.
