It’s not so easy in the dark
To find your way
Trembling fingers
Grasping as you go along

In the thickness of black
Sliding your feet slowly helps
The mind fills with shades
Of black and grey

Shocked eyeballs try
To punctuate with sharp light
Yet, still there is nothing
Nothing but the dark void

And you snail-pacing in it
