A piece of my heart,
A chunk of my soul,
Has been tied to her,
And it won't let go,
It feels as though we are one being,
Yet our minds share two different homes,
I watch her in sadness,
As she twinkles without me,
And I look at her with fondness,
When I know she's thinking of me,
But never should my hand reach out to hold her,
Never should I pull her to an embrace,
And so I'm stuck wondering,
If she will be mine again,
If she will be mine completely,
And not in some half, twisted way,
If maybe I am to die with her,
I wouldn't have it any other way.
