And if the skies were your waters,
And if jewels were embedded in your eyes,
Maybe by then,
Your treasure wouldn't taste like lies,
And if perhaps you had spoken,
For that which was right,
Then perhaps the guilt wouldn't eat at you,
Late in the night,
And if your soul could be seen on your face,
Would you still be as beautiful as you seem,
And if the debts you hold,
Could ever be repayed to me.
