Your name still lights up my screen,
but it’s only in old messages
I can’t bring myself to delete.

I scroll back,
pretending the past
is just one reply away.

The typing bubble never comes.

Silence
is louder than any goodbye-
it hums in my chest,
a reminder that love
can vanish without a sound.

The world keeps moving,
but I’m stuck in yesterday,
holding conversations
that only exist in my head.

If heartbreak had a ringtone,
it would be the quiet
that follows your absence.
