I used to walk for miles on the cliff side alone
Looking at the sea and stepping over adders on the pathways on my own
Watching the buzzards above me sailing on the therms
It was quintessentially very quiet with not a soul about
I wondered what lived in the bushes
Could it be the Bodmin beast because he can run and travel far
My mind would wonder out there yonder
And sometimes fear would come quite near
But the beauty of the open air and being there
Would replace my fears I’d had for years!
This was remarkable and somewhat beautiful
But alone I was missing something in my life
Humans need other humans to keep them alive
And then without looking I found my love
He made my life complete!
