Strictures
Effigies honouring
breached existences, or
consistencies,
like baubles of
sparkling proportion,
opaque turned off.
Throats, and hearts,
young, and wheezing,
baffled by charcoal.
Can you imagine,
signals stalling
noisy, and silent.
Peace fair, but not
quite diligent?
Miserably aware,
walking away from
too much play.
Attracted to wicket;
but truer have been
without shtick.
A need to expel, cut
up by strictures,
splendor devaluedβ
worse yet, so rudely
interrupted,
yet again, revered.
Blurrrggghh!
