In a mirror's grip, I lost my way, Chasing shadows
both night and day. Numbers defined my worth and fear
Yet whispered truths began to draw near. Each meal a mountain
each bite a test

Deep inside, I longed for rest.
With trembling hands, I took the leap
Embracing nourishment, no longer to weep.
With every bite, I reclaim my light

Tearing down walls, preparing for flight.
Shed the guilt, embrace the fight,
Finding strength in shadows, a spark in the night.
I celebrate life, unmasked and unmade

A journey of wholeness; I’m no longer afraid.
With open arms, I greet what’s to come
A path towards healing; I’ve only begun.
