When I was a boy we studied structures falling in the earthquake at a church during the aftershocks

We learned of life, emergency
And demolitioning a wall which was condemned

Condemned people run and hide silent in that shame

It began as emergency winter shelter in a rotating church diner program

Then motel 6 reservation funds
Now fraud and dilapidated billing

I demand emergency summer homekey rooms or you will pay the consequences in lost lives

I wrote this legislation through to hearing
