Keep Your Fire burning bright
Don’t let yourself get lost
In the Shadows of the Night

We all have a desire to be somebody
Especially in the eyes of someone we love
But this desire can cause us pain and we
Can forget our blessings from above

It doesn’t matter what the world thinks
You can’t consume yourself with this
For it will surely be a Scorpions sting
When you deserve a Butterfly Kiss

Take a Rose and be the flower and
Don’t let yourself be Thorned
You can be the winged Angel
And not the Woman Scorned

You must chase your dreams
For they will never chase you
But as you go through life
Unto yourself be true

Being first is overrated and putting
Others first is a better reward
Otherwise you might find you’ve
Been stabbed with a double edged sword

When being first Is not the goal
You might just find yourself there
You’ll be proud that you took the
Time to open your heart and care

To The Girl In Flames trust
I’m not trying to take jouissance
Forgive me of my poor words of wisdom
