And now I can’t remember your name
But I really liked when you threw me bones
Your words held weight and I think you looked at me through the eyes of a thief of which there is no greater compliment
But I can’t remember your name
Though I can clearly see your face
And it’s not particularly spectacular but it is one I can’t misplace
Yet I can’t remember your name
Even though I sat across from you so many times in a sticky honey daze
