A twinge of regret is always present
as we pass the paths that should have -
could have - been,
and see the keychains
from places we've never seen,
on other passenger's bags, and
jealous, we tear our tickets
and wish we had listed
a different destination,
wonder what it would have taken
as others do the same
from their seats.
