Sticky summer nights
Skin touching skin
Thin sheets disguise our shapes
Moving discretely underneath
Window open
Breeze moving
Limbs tangled, intertwined
Mouths and eyes locked on each other
Something new
Something beautiful
Slowly learning
Slowly opening to each other
The days, weeks, months move fast around us
But time stops when we’re together
Love leaves us lost to the world
Though gives it life in our eyes
Feeling fully
Loving together
All the care is shared
Never a better match in the world
We know to see the start of the rest of life
Never
Alone

I wish I was right
I wish it was forever
The timing wasn’t right
I wasn’t right.
I’m
Alone
Written last summer. Edited this one.
