Have we fallen out of love
With what is good and righteous
Straying from the path God laid
By which all men are saved

Who told you this was right
The plan of man that's lost its mind
Taking to a different avenue
Walking opposite of truth

What are we hoping here to find
At this juncture in our lives
We could just as easily go the way
By which all men are saved

Instead, we venture on our own
Leaving all that's good in all we know
We came to this point long ago
Left or right at the crossroads

This road we're slip and sliding on
Has a muddy grime that grips our bones
We need to walk the straight and narrow line
Far from the ditch of wasted life

Which makes us all fall out of love
With what is both good and righteous
Straying from the path God has laid
By which all men are saved
