In the Quiet Between Us
Beneath the hush of silver skies,
Your gaze is where my solace lies.
No words, no maps, no need for signs,
I find my home between your lines.
The world may rush, the hours may fade,
Yet here with you, I'm unafraid.
For even storms lose all their weight,
When held within your steady grace.
Your touchβlike dawn upon the sea,
Unfolds the light that lives in me.
And every breath, a vow renewed,
To love you fierce, and love you true.
So let the stars burn out above,
We'll write our days in ink of love.
And even time will bend, concedeβ
For all I want is you, indeed..
