'I keep redefining what's ours
Something that time can't age?
Authenticity over aesthetic?
My mind keeps bringing me
beyond my comfort zone
So when it comes to you
Those thoughts spill out
And my actions speak louder than before
Your mind is my holy grail
sufficient to keep us going
To be the backbone of my emotions
and the chariot that carries us through
every encounter
Oh, how I wish it were me
Had I chosen me before you.
