Starshine
Oh dear Starshine
The world went black as hell today.
You said that you needed space,
But you're stuck in my **** brain.
My sweet Starshine,
Let me hold your hand again;
Let me repent for my sins,
And I'll be a better man.
Can you hear me Starshine,
Let me look you in the eyes.
Don't tell me this is goodbye;
I just want you in my life.
You're so bright, Starshine;
Your lips are my amazing grace.
I want to feel your warm embrace;
Forever, for you, I will chase.
Can you hear me, Starshine?
Did you think of me at all,
Anticipating a phone call
Or a message at nightfall?
That's it, Starshine.
I will try to make this right.
Is there a chance, a flicker of light
To pull you back from the endless night?
Goodnight, Starshine
Donβt burn yourself holding on
