We all covet stages
Or platforms
To play on
Display what identity
Leads us astray on
Some tangent
Some rant
Raving rampage
Of madness
Celebrity complex
Of I
Have to have this
This status
Attention
The followers
Mention
My image
And likeness
My personal penchant
For myriad realms
Of myself economics
Authentic pretension
Anxiety tonics
Have long been its
Mass appeal
Crack Tok addiction
And fear of its makers
Our predisposition
But trust in its fakers
A base inclination
As well
If they’re selling
The end of humanity’s
Not worth rebelling
