A place which houses people
A statement to last centuries
Oh so beautiful its creation
The slaves it took
The women it *****
The lives it has taken
Wait! Ignore all that
Remember the freedom it serves us
Remember how lenient it is compared to others
Be grateful
Nobody can provide for you like it does
Nobody can help you like it does
It loves you
It loves you enough to put people in a specific shade above you
It loves you enough to keep the poor down and the rich richer
It loves to make you feel worthle-!
STOP!
Ignore all that
Don’t you dare look at it like a villain
Don’t you dare focus on the bad when there is so much good
You’re unworthy of it
You got lucky that it dragged your ancestors here so you can claim its benefits
It would prefer you stay out with those parasites trying to grasp our freedom
It would prefer it made you follow the real blue print of its Founding Fathers
But it doesn’t
It loves you
It will ignore all the bad things you have said about it
It will only focus on your greatness
So shouldn’t you do the same?
