It was the last time I swore
Putting myself in that position again
Bawling my eyes out in the corridor
Tearing and biting up my shirt
Stabbing the carpet with a scissor
Forgotten, neglected and used
Never to trust a human no more
Fallen knight comes to rescue
Pulling the soaking veil of the floor
A tragic soul hidden inside
Stories locked behind closed doors

Defense mode has finally past
Unhappy lines turns joyful at last
Worry turns to peace
Insecurity turns to acceptance
Hatred turns to compassion
Sadness turns to vulnerability
Fear turns to curiosity
Cold to warmth
Silence to laughter
Anxiety to relief
Broken heart to love
But when he sees a her true worth
Woman’s love is the warmest place on earth
