Just wanted a place to hide
I kept a shield around my heart
I couldn’t let Love get inside

In the sky the clouds were always grey
And there was rain upon my windowsill
I had Demons for body guards and
Angels they loved to ****

But when I first saw you
I let my defenses drop
I didn’t want to love you
But now I can never stop

Those grey clouds have all disappeared
And now all those Demons run and hide
The deep pain and sorrow has lifted
I can’t remember the tears I’ve cried

Once I was drowning in a Dead Sea
But like Moses you made the Water part
You were the Angel that Triumphed and
Took away The Darkness In My Heart
