So I stitched the silence into armor,
wore the ache like woven thread.
You left thinking I was broken,
but I was only shedding dead.

Your leaving lit a lantern—
not for you, but just for me.
I walked alone through ruins
and found the girl I used to be.

She’s not waiting by the doorway.
She’s not crying in the rain.
She dances in the ashes
and turns sorrow into flame.

You thought I’d fade in shadows,
but I carved them into light.
Now I am the thing you dream of—
but can’t reach in the night.

Because now I am the good in goodbye,
the strength you never saw bloom.
And you? You're just a whisper
in a long-forgotten room.
