despite my walls, sky to sea, you broke me down, you stole my crown, with complete and utter innocence.
verdict, verdict, how do you plea ?
how did i ignore with such blissful ignorance ?
convince me to stay, only to go. 10 months you had me, only to flee.
do you sleep well at night with the knowledge of thievery, or do you lie awake, was i merely a change of scenery ?
if only i knew our encounter to be irreverent. i’d be aided by ease and aloof to our severance.
my friends, my jury, they find you guilty.
and i, the judge, filled with utmost fury.
you were not fiction, nor truth or ending.
you were but a stepping stone for my wisdom, ascending.
