I think of all you’ve taught me
and I know it’s been a lot,
like I’ve never been a crier -
now I don’t know how to stop;
and all my sorrows have come knocking,
so I think I’ll drown the lot,
with another gin and tonic
and another silent sob.
breakups and personal growth
